Section [1] this section allows you to choose between 5 types of timers for the game to use per item rarity. As an example you can set Blue items to use the VeryShortLived timer type, which then inherits the times from section [2].
Section [2] this section lets you modify the time, in seconds, for when an item despawns. This works directly from section [1].
For example: if you set Blue, White and Green rarity items to use VeryShortLived as their type, then they will all inherit the timer from section [2] in their respective categories.
[Optional 1] this allows you to make all blue uniques use a specific rarity class of your choosing. This makes them inherit the types from section [1], specifically, from the Purple, Legendary, E-Tech and Pearlescent Tier 2 rarities.
[Optional 2] this is designed for [Optional 1], as it will allow the two affected SMGs from UCP to retain their Purple rarity to prevent quick despawns from the Blue rarity.
Some of the Developer Personal Setups make ALL blue uniques move up to purple rarity, so do not be alarmed, you can toggle this off if you want. Or change your option.
This is to prevent these unique items from despawning with the rest of the blue items. If you want to make them Legendary rarity then make your own changes below, as it will overwrite the stuff you choose from my setup.
Includes an ammo mod written by Lollosaurus Rex as an option if you make ammo despawn quickly.
I would suggest checking out my Unique Item Sound Notifier mod too, it can work very well with this mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/borderlands2/mods/95
You can use one of my personal setups and make specific changes down below. Your changes will overwrite whatever you didn't like in my setup. That way you don't have to do it all yourself.
