beatmapping pages rework

this is a thing that's happening slowly and surely

• People > Beatmap Nominator pages
• haven't been reviewed in a long time, potentially not up-to-speed with newer changes to internal BN stuff this has happened now.
• Becoming a Beatmap Nominator needs additional information to help people get closer to the ideals of the "modding expectations" section. Either by adding to it or creating a guide which would be linked, such as a general all-modes version of this forum thread
• Adding a page about evaluations (new BN page documenting evaluations of BNs #3135) (Noffy is working on this)
• Beatmap Discussion (Rewrite Beatmap Discussion article #3126)
• Beatmapping - mostly up-to-date but it's not written well. it should function as a decent hub for all things mapping related Beatmapping portal/main page on wiki #9025
• Difficulties Update Beatmap and Difficulties to underline the difference between two concepts #4773
• Guides pages that are relevant
  • Adding Custom Hitsounds (Rewrite the "Adding Custom Hitsounds" guide #3127)
  • Collab_Information - this has weird personal suggestions Remove obsolete articles: Glossary, Guides/Collab information, and meta/unused/* #8955
    • Provide up to date example of beatmap collaboration project on Guides/Collaboration_information #6657
    • Expand Beatmap/Beatmap collaborations #8952
  • Compressing_Files - mega outdated tools TicClick: the current version of the guide looks up to date -- both Audacity, Handbrake, and ffmpeg are being actively developed (and there's been a couple of clean-up/update PRs)
  • Getting your map modded - not very up-to-date, especially following pishi's edits to Modding Rework the How to get your map modded guide #5597
  • How to time songs - just an odd writing style, but this looks pretty thorough Rewrite the How to time songs guide and improve it with reference material #6757
  • Music theory - it's good content, but feels like it could use a better home? who's going to go looking in Guides for this?
  • osu!mania mapping guide - mostly formatting and layout problems Update osu!mania articles mentioning and/or describing mapping patterns #8979
  • setting the offset on the correct beat - maybe not necessary. or belongs better in a general article about timing
  • videos from youtube - mega outdated tools (Rewrite Videos from YouTube #3851)
• Submission
• Submission > Beatmap ranking procedure
• Modding

All need to be reviewed, combined where possible (some pages may seem like duplicates of each other) and generally rewritten to be made up to date. Lots of outdated and conflicting information is currently floating around these pages.

Maybe adding a history page for good to know old info when that's all done too.

• Review terms/grammar across the resulting pages and make sure they are consistent

im currently rewriting the Beatmap Discussion page. Should be a bit easier once that's done. A lot of this stuff overlaps heavily.

I have a thing for Difficulties WIP thanks mr venix for reminding me to post. involves tying together "Difficulty Naming" from RC and some other jazz

For stuff like Hitsounding it might be worth cross-referencing usermade guides, since there are quite a lot of those not directly related to wiki
