Supported host systems
Customizer works on these host systems. In general, Customizer supports host system running any Unix and Unix-like operating systems (Linux, BSD).

These host systems have been installed on a fixed-allocated VDI in Oracle VM VirtualBox.
For non-Ubuntu system such as Debian (Wheezy, but not Jessie), the Makefile
may need to be edited before creating DEB package. Notably line 10 PYTHON = python2
may be changed to PYTHON = python
to be compatible for running python-config
command.
For Kubuntu, remastering is least usable due to various errors and poor performance. That is, Kubuntu releases are not optimal and not recommended for "old stable" (based on testing in Kubuntu 12.04 and 16.04 32-bit releases).
The listed systems on this page are solely tested by Customizer Development Team and doesn't include every host system that works with Customizer. For more general results, refer to user feedback results (see sidebar).
