Release notes – Final Release

The final prototype of ALIADA was finished in October. A webinar and a workshop were performed by the community from the partners in the Consortium. The partners responsible for that monitoring assessed the results and provided the requirements for the final release. Therefore, technical partners added minor bugs and urgent improvements to the workflow before launching the final release of ALIADA.

Here are the main fixed bugs, workflow improvements and data model changes included in ALIADA v.2.1.

FIXED BUGS

• Update ambiguous translations.
• Improve the templates grouped by entities.
• Add the author of the dataset and email to improve the process of publication in the CKAN.
• Added new fields in CKAN dataset page creation process, so that when applying the LOD cloud diagram validator at http://validator.lod-cloud.net/validate.php over the created dataset, a completeness level of 3 is reached.

NEW FEATURES

• Add Datatables, that is a plug-in for the jQuery Javascript library, to check the links.
• ALS plugin.
• ALIADA REST service (Librisuite-ALIADA).
• Changed some of the URI dereferencing rules, such as that when accessing for example to the resource: http://data.szepmuveszeti.hu/id/collections/museum/E18_Physical_Thing/szepmuveszeti.hu_object_29, the URI remains in the Browser URL input box, and not the URI of the web service that implements the translation of RDF into HTML format.

DATA MODEL CHANGES

• Update DB tables.
