Currently there's not a way to check if Zello will actually present the user with a permission request upon a Zello.requestVitalPermissions() call. In case all permissions were earlier granted or denied, the permission requests won't be shown. However, there's a known defect that causes the screen to dim for a very short time when Zello.requestVitalPermissions() doesn't trigger the actual permission request UI. We will attempt to fix that in one of the future Zello releases.
