The BY-COVID project is coming to an end and we are proud to have contributed to it!

BY-COVID was launched in autumn 2021 to support the response to COVID-19 and our preparedness for future infectious disease outbreaks.
Last week saw the project's final general assembly: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/by-covid_infectiousdiseases-horizoneurope-activity-7239227812895760384-_3lk and policy meeting: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/by-covid_openscience-pandemics-openscience-activity-7239657006670704640-EShC and the release of a "Stories of Success": https://by-covid.org/news/by-covid-success-story/ brochure. (1/3)

Parts of the SARS-CoV-2 data analysis efforts of the #GalaxyProject have been conducted under BY-COVID and one of the results is highlighted on page 15 of the brochure and was also featured prominently at the policy event.

For a more detailed explanation of what we achieved, see our blog post on the subject: https://galaxyproject.org/news/2024-09-16-by-covid-eol/ (2/3)

BY-COVID has helped us turn Galaxy into a first-class platform for viral pathogen data analysis, but we will keep up our efforts beyond this project.

I think so. I'm still not a fan of threads I guess, or many threads.
I tend to think that all plugins that have a small character limit should go into a separate file. So that we can tweak those without interfering with the longer posts.
