Become a sponsor to Scott Kirvan
Greetings!
My name is Scott Kirvan. I've done a million things; founded a software company in L.A., founded a brewery in the Pacific Northwest, and most recently I'm in filmmaking as a creator, VFX Supervisor, and Virtual Production Supervisor. Throughout all of that, I've always been a technologist and coder.
I'm always learning and share a lot of what I'm working on up here on GitHub. I do a lot of Unreal Engine coding and I'm big into educating other artists and tech people. Much of what I put up here I see as samples and examples of different things that are all TL;DR;. I also host gists which tend to be about hairy little problems that took more time than they should have to get a handle on.
As well as an artist, I'm kind of an Unreal Engine and CG generalist, tools engineer, workflow, and pipeline guy. A lot of what I focus on leans that way, but I also get deep into rendering and visual fidelity (I have an amazing project that I'm trying to get released into the wild here -- finger's crossed -- out of my control at the moment), and tech art.
I also write a lot, love markdown, and get really nerdy about CI and dev-ops... so of course, GitHub is just a natural place for me to engage.
Your sponsorship helps me continue the work that I do for the community, and helps free me up from losing the products of my labor in exchange for a paycheck. Thanks in advance for your support!
