- In order to provide continuous support, CTI would prefer to have a full set of hardware after HT5. It has been decided that a full set will be returned to CTI after HT5.
- Anna will deliver to Joe an upper limit on prototype production costs directly after the meeting.
- In response to the worry about availability of FPGAs – there should be no problem according to Greg, CTI production will monitor the situation.
- Start of discussion of timeline – finishing with all reviews before January 14th unrealistic. There is not enough manpower to get all the checks done by two sets of eyes by that time. CTI will have to re-organize resources for layout checks which will start later than assumed. Production of prototypes will be postponed, probably until the second half of February, which means the necessity to print PCBs in Europe.
- From the point of view of CTI funding it would be optimal to finish the full project before May 1st, 2019. Up to the end of April the NCBR co-funding for CTI is 80%, afterwards it drops to 60% for the next 2 years.
- CTI started their checks, the progress can be seen here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DefjWAyn5593QPaktRCj8P- 1UrTjZG76obw2nbPDgOk/edit?ts=5c1434b1#gid=779373610 One can also see which points will not be checked by CTI – it can be discussed if the proposed coverage of checks (focusing mainly on differences between v1 and v2) is optimal.
- M-Labs has to estimate what can be contributed at what time on their side. It has been pointed out that the logical concept of the clocking tree (HT 1.5) is an important part of the review. M-Labs would like to know what is the extent of other parties’ contributions to the high-level review. M-Labs is asked to provide a list of priorities of their contribution to the high-level review that they can envision doing in the first two weeks of January 2019. Based on inputs from all sides, a list of tasks for all parties for January will be formulated.
- TestMod is only needed for direct post-production testing at CTI. Since CTI already has 4 pieces from previous projects, there is no need for production of this board.
