@djc Oops, I just merged the previous PR too soon... My bad :|

OTOH it might be interesting to postpone this PR for the upcoming aws-lc-sys release, so that I can directly rebase #4105 onto it.

I don't see much point in that... can just add a commit in your PR that bumps the aws-lc-sys version at very little effort, right -- which also makes it more explicit that that change is needed (we might want to bump the dependency specification for it?).
