Hacking REST web services with jQuery

In order to particpate in the internet of things it's important to understand the basic principals of REST based web services. 
This overview will help you determine what skills are needed for these kinds of projects, and run through a basic example of getting information into Thingspeak.com  and Pachube.com.
This class will serve as an introduction to REST based web services, and students will interact with them
using Javascript, jQuery, and proxy servers. This class will use cloud9ide, and use node.js for proxy services.
