So far I've just added an example that reproduces the problem: A list of keyed elements is completely re-rendered even if only one of the elements change.
I'm not sure how to go about actually fixing it though. It never tries to move any element, so implementing that wouldn't seem to fix it, and I can't see what else is missing. Any hints on what might be wrong here @wokalski?
