Update the project repository to reflect deprecation of
./pkg, and enforce privacy of internal interfaces. It is likely that internal interfaces could benefit from significant changes at any time, and all official features using these packages are contained within this repo. The APIs specified in root directory are used by webapps and are considered public interfaces that we support.
