A collection of scripts used as part of the Geotags in Dark Net Market research

geodata (python)

This Python 2.7 scripts searches for geolocation data in the metadata of an image. If none if found, nothing is outputted; if geolocation data is found (and is not 0.0, 0.0), a tuple of the file's name and the latitude and longitude data will be outputted to stdout.

iterate_photos (bash)

all_photos_count (bash)

Counts the total number of pictures analyzed in the project, by counting the total number of lines in each all_photos.txt file produced by iterate_photos.sh (each photo is logged on a new line.)

all_folders (bash)

From the main dnmarchives folder, enters each market's folder and runs iterate_photos.sh.
