I've added two options in my fork:
appendZoomTo- append the larger zoom image to another element, away from the small image. This was needed to make jqzoom work with image sliders that reposition images in a view port.positionAround- position the larger zoom image around an element.I've also included a demo using the options above, named "demo_slider.html", which uses AnythingSlider as an example, but it should work with any slider.
