HTML font rendering requirements

These steps are only necessary for the rendering of JIS standards in HTML (in the browser), as the browser relies on system fonts.

The JIS format requires the following fonts in HTML:

• IPA Gothic

• IPA Mincho

This font can be installed via Fontist, or through your system’s font installation mechanism.

fontist install 'IPA Gothic'
fontist install 'IPA Mincho'

Note	Metanorma for JIS automatically installs these fonts via Fontist that is used for PDF generation.

Building

bundle exec metanorma site generate

Viewing

After building the documents, run the following command.

open site/index.html
