Important commands:

  • roscore

  • rosrun [name of package] [name of node]

  • rosnode list - lists all running nodes

  • rostopic echo [name of topic]

  • roslaunch [name of package] [name of file] - starts a .launch file

  • rosrun turlesim turtlesim_node / rosrun turtlesim turtle_teleop_key

  • catkin_make
