1. On your Mac, open a Terminal window.
2. Type the following command, and press enter: mkdir -p ~/.local/share/

The directory must be created or else Jellyfin will not launch correctly. If it already exists, that is OK.

3. Download "Jellyfin.dmg" below, and open it.
4. Copy "Jellyfin.app" to the Applications folder.
