What is Win-Flip

You love that Metro style on Windows 8, don't you? Wouldn't it be super cool if you could get your daily dose of news/movie/beautiful images everyday on that interface? Well, here's WinFlip - a Windows 8 app that uses USA Today, Rotten Tomatoes & Pearson APIs to browse latest news articles, movies and images in a really cool interface. Built using the magic of HTML/Javascript/CSS.

Requirements

  1. Windows 8
  2. Visual Studio Express or Full
  3. USA TODAY API Key
  4. Rotten Tomatoes API Key
  5. Pearson Images API Key

How to Use

  1. Download the source code and open the project in Visual Studio.
  2. Edit the file data.js with your API Keys from USA Today, Rotten Tomatoes & Pearson.
  3. Run the app - on the local machine, on an external device or a simulator.
  4. You're gold!
