Current API Status

API implementation status as Google Doc

Current Status

cyREST is in Beta status. As of June 2015, it has basic features including:

Stable API to access basic Cytoscape data objects
- CyNetworks
- CyTables
- Visual Styles
API to execute basic Cytoscape tasks:
- Apply Visual Style
- Apply layouts
- Apply edge bundling
- Get network as PNG image

Future Plan

Version 1.0.x

Improvements to API based on feedback to 0.9.x
Support for more data formats
- GraphSON
- CSV (For POSTing table)
