+# Hacktoberfest '22: Contribute to Voice Dataset - Common Voice (EN)
+
+Mozilla Common Voice is an initiative to help teach machines how real people speak.
+
+Voice is natural, voice is human. That’s why we’re excited about creating usable voice technology for our machines. But to create voice systems, developers need an extremely large amount of voice data.
+
+Now you can donate your voice to help us build an open-source voice database that anyone can use to make innovative apps for devices and the web. Read a sentence to help machines learn how real people speak. Check the work of other contributors to improve the quality. It’s that simple!

+## How to contribute:
+### Hacktoberfest Participation:
+1. Register to hacktoberfest.com and connect your Github account
+2. Choose role that suit your contribution (contributor/maintainer/organizer)
+3. You can check on the profile section to see update of approval pull/merge request and earned badges
+
+### Github Pull Request/Merge Request
+1. Find the open-source repository that participated to Hacktoberfest (topic: hacktoberfest) - our repo: https://github.com/id-mozilla/hacktoberfest-2022
+2. Fork the repo and submit PR for your changes you make
+3. Wait for review and approval from the maintainer of the project/repository
+4. Star the repo to pin therepository in your Github dashboard

+### Step 2: Common Voice project contribution:
+1. Open voice.mozilla.org and create/login to your account
+2. Set your setting in dashboard
+3. Start contributing ("Speak" to collect voice dataset and/or "Listen" to validate the dataset)
+4. After you done, go to dashboard menu
+5. Screenshot the whole screen (including time and number of your voice/validation submission you've made
+6. Submit a Pull Request by create a new directory/folder with format - your-name 
+   - then create a file use format - your-name.md (check sample content in kontributor folder)
+   - upload the screenshot in to the folder
+7. Our maintainers will review your submission and approve it  within 2x24 hours
