This is the documentation for the Lore Seeker Discord bot. If your question isn't answered here, please contact Fenhl.
There are 3 ways to use the bot to search Lore Seeker for cards:
- In a channel, start your message by mentioning Lore Seeker, followed by a search query like you'd use on the Lore Seeker website, e.g.
@Lore Seeker#3749 f:cs t:Bard
. - Just send the search query as a direct message to Lore Seeker.
- In the #magic and #bot-spam channels in the Gefolge server or in any channel in the Custom Standard and ECH server, you can use queries inside longer messages by typing a card name or search query in double square brackets, e.g.
[[channel]]
(any capitalization is okay) or[[f:cs t:Bard]]
. This can be used multiple times in the same message.
If the result of a search is exactly one card, the bot will show an embed with the card name, mana cost, text, etc. The card name will be a link to the card on the Lore Seeker website. If multiple cards are found, the bot will just reply with the number of results and a link to the results page.
In direct messages, the #magic channel in the Gefolge server, and any channel in the ECH/EXH and Custom Standard servers, commands can be used by starting a message with the command name, including the %
prefix. In all other channels, you have to mention Lore Seeker first, e.g. @Lore Seeker#3749 %ping
.
