Loop Indexes

Location

The current location of the loops index is located in each users home directory.

GarageBand

When GarageBand is launched for the first time after a fresh install and deployment of audio content, it is recommended that users click the Loops icon (screenshot below) to trigger an indexing of the deployed loops.

Logic Pro X

When Logic Pro X is launched for the first time, the loop index process might be triggered automatically. Click the Loops icon will trigger an indexing of the deployed loops the first time the Loops browser is opened if the index has not already been done.

MainStage 3

There does not appear to be an indexing process for MainStage 3.
