IIRC, during a conversation at GCC2024, @kostrykin and @bernt-matthias suggested that enabling users to browse images in OMERO directly through Galaxy would be a nice feature to add. Following this, a discussion with @bgruening confirmed that this feature is feasible, though it will require backend development work.
