Activity bundling

  • Ensure every application enables the identification and flagging of what permit applications are required for each activity or purpose on the land base.

Project bundling

  • Ensure that application submissions and permits are able to be identified with a larger project, if applicable (not all activities require more than one permit).

Project

  • Ensure that project names are consistent and maintained

Location

  • Ensure all systems track the parcel or area of interest associated with the permit application

Permits types

  • Ensure all permit name should have a uniquely defined name or include an acronym or alias.
  • Ensure all application submission types are captured and standardized, e.g., amendment, change ownership, new.

Process tracking

  • Ensure all system track an application through the process until a final decision and then into the maintenance phases of the issued permit.
  • Ensure all system track the period of time between different states and or key milestones.
  • Ensure all system track a minimum set of identified dates and states to enable interoperability and consistent terminology for applicants.
