besl
is a general purpose library written in python for astronomical
research.
besl
is in alpha state so to install, you can clone it from the GitHub repository:
$ git clone [email protected]:autocorr/besl.git $ cd besl $ python setup.py install
or with pip
:
$ pip install git+http://github.com/autocorr/besl.git#egg=besl
numpy >= 1.7.1 scipy >= 0.10.1 pandas >= 0.11.0 matplotlib >= 1.3.0 astropy >= 0.3.dev5057 photutils >= 0.0.dev128 pyephem >= 3.7.5.1
Many paths in besl
are hard-coded for specific directories and will need to be modified on the target machine. You can find info on how to use the sub-modules in the documentation at ReadTheDocs.
