Description

The pull requests INLONG-11129 and INLONG-11201 introduced new Flink metrics for the inlong-sort component in the apache/inlong repository. However, there is currently a lack of documentation covering the development of user-defined metrics, especially regarding extending functionality, such as adding a new connector. This absence of guidance may create confusion for new developers working with user-defined metrics.

To address this, new documentation should be created to provide clear instructions on how to develop and integrate user-defined metrics within inlong-sort. This documentation will help streamline the development process and improve accessibility for contributors.
