Use Firefox browser#Manually import certificates
This page will demonstrate in detail how to set up a Firefox+XXnet Internet access channel on a brand new Windows7 computer. (Chinese-English bilingual)
Open the Firefox official website to download the browser: https://www.mozilla.org/zh-CN/firefox/new/.
Find all supported languages and operating systems on the "All Systems and Languages" page.
- The full installation package is downloaded from the "All systems and languages" page. A warning may pop up when running the installation package, just click "Run".
- If you don't want to install "Silent Update Service", please select "Custom Installation", otherwise you can go to the next step.
- After the installation is complete, the program will ask you if you want to import data from other browsers. You can decide whether to import or not.
- Open https://github.com/XX-net/XX-Net#download link, pay attention to see if there is a green certificate verification successful display before the URL.
- Choose to download the stable version and unzip it after downloading. Run the start.bat in the folder to generate a desktop shortcut (later started through the shortcut)
- If a request for administrator privileges (User Account Control) pops up, please allow it.
- A firewall warning may pop up when running for the first time, please allow access.
- After starting XX-Net, tray icon will appear in the lower right corner. Right-click the tray icon and click "Global PAC Smart Agent".
- Firefox menu - Options - Advanced - Network - Settings, check the automatic proxy settings, enter: http://127.0.0.1:8086/proxy.pac, complete.
- Of course, the last step is to manually import the certificate, and then you can enjoy the Internet.
