When loading GPIO pins on a Raspberry Pi 5, there are 2 files the pins can be loaded from. Before version 6.6.45 it was
gpiochip4
, and after that version it isgpiochip0
. This commit checks which file exists and loads from those instead. If a new application is made today on a newer version of the Raspberry Pi 5 Kernel, the app will crash when trying to load pins, with exception text "Unknown GPIO chip gpiochip4".
