Releases: ThornyFFXI/tCrossBar
tCrossBar 2.14
When updating from prior to 2.0 to 2.0+, please delete your entire addons/tCrossBar/ folder rather than dropping new one in place, and remove any custom layouts from config/addons/tCrossBar/resources/layouts. Layouts from prior to 2.0 are not compatible. Do not delete your entire configuration folder or you will lose your saved bindings.
Major Changes(Renderer):
-Rendering system replaced entirely. tRenderer is no longer necessary for use.
-Layout files have been altered substantially. Layouts from prior to 2.0 are no longer compatible.
-New rendering system no longer requires specified clipping boxes and should faithfully render any overlapping of objects in custom layouts.
-If multiple palettes are available, palette name and number are now shown in the format 'Base (1/3)'.
-Layouts can be scaled dynamically to sizes between 50% and 300%.
-A seperate layout can be selected for single vs double displays.
Configuration:
-Repositioning is now done by using the 'Allow Drag' button in the configuration menu then click-dragging a visible icon, rather than ctrl-click-dragging.
-A new slider has been added to resize layouts. You must click apply to make the new size effective.
-Checkboxes have been added to allow empty elements and element frames to be hidden.
-A checkbox has been added to allow user to disable palette name display.
-A slider has been added to allow the duration of the activation trigger to be altered.
-Settings have been rearranged and grouped into tabs.
Japanese Language Support:
-Renderer can now render japanese text, when presented in UTF-8.
-Resources will now be converted to UTF-8 format when using the binding GUI.
-Bindings that exist from prior to this update are likely in shift-JIS, and need to be converted to UTF-8 to display properly.
-All macros will be converted back to shift-JIS prior to being sent to the game for compatibility.
-Ashita's IMGUI implementation does not support Japanese text as of Interface 4.15. So, the binding menu itself is likely to display garbled text. This is expected to be resolved in Interface 4.16(not yet released publically) as noted here: AshitaXI/Ashita#46 . I have tested the prerelease and verified that the binding menu will properly display in this version of Ashita. I was unable to verify text input as I cannot type in Japanese, but expect it to work as well.
Misc:
-Macros now support <wait #> notation as well as /wait notation.
-Spells for BLU are now only considered known if they are currently set, or activated via Unbridled Wisdom. This applies to both binding menu populating spell lists, and spells shown on the hotbar.
-When Immanence or Chain Affinity are active, spells will now display skillchain elements the same way weaponskills do.
