Default password

Default password for the web interface is 'deluge'.

DMS6 and DSM7 permissions

Permissions for all download-related packages are managed with the group sc-download in DSM.

The group users used in DSM 5 packages is no longer used as of DSM 6. Package user will not appear on most UI settings.

Remote access

Remote access is disabled by default. To allow clients to remotely connect to the daemon, see the ThinClient guide of Deluge

Configuration in Preferences

Deluge proposes to move completed downloads to /var/packages/deluge/target/Downloads by default if no "Complete directory" is explicitly provided at installation wizard.

Such a location which will be discarded at package upgrade or a large file volume may prevent (or slow) DSM upgrade itself. Please use a DSM volume folder or subdirectory of volume as "Complete directory".
