Python is a high-level, interpreted programming language known for its simplicity and readability. Its syntax closely resembles English, making it beginner-friendly. Python supports multiple programming paradigms, including procedural, object-oriented, and functional programming. It is widely used for web development, data analysis, machine learning, automation, and scientific computing, thanks to its large standard library and a vibrant ecosystem of third-party packages. Python's versatility, ease of learning, and extensive community support have made it one of the most popular programming languages worldwide.

Step 1: Download the Installer
Go to the official Python website.
Click on the latest version of Python (usually the most recent stable version is highlighted at the top).
Click on the Windows link to download the installer (make sure you choose the appropriate version for your system: 32-bit or 64-bit).
Step 2: Run the Installer
Once the installer is downloaded, run it.
Important: On the first screen of the installer, make sure to check the box that says "Add Python to PATH" (this will make it easier to run Python from the command line).
Choose either "Install Now" (for a default installation) or "Customize Installation" (if you want to select specific options).
Wait for the installation process to complete.
Step 3: Verify the Installation
Open the Command Prompt.
Type the following command to check if Python is installed successfully:
css
python --version
or for newer versions of Python (3.x):
css
python3 --version
You should see a response like:
Python 3.x.x
