AWBASH

##The Austin Web Bash

The Austin Web Bash, or AWBASH for short, is a yearly holiday party where all of the major tech meetups in Austin get together for a night of catching up with old friends, and making new ones!

Every year, we rent all of Buffalo Billiard's (yes, both floors!) and we bring in everyone from the Austin tech community. Our largest turnout has been 850+ attendees, and over 20 participating meetups.

###Raising funds for charity A big tenet of the party is to raise funds for a local charity. We have raised funds for Capital Area Food Bank, Keep Austin Beautiful, and the Girls Empowerment Network, among others.

Some of the feedback we have received from the benefited nonprofits:

Each ticket to the AWBASH goes 100% to the benefited charity of the year.
