QFAB Workshops material on GitHub (Quick Guide)

We will create a new repository for each workshop. The workshop content is created using Markdown and using GitPages to render the site. There will be a master site that controls the links to each workshop and this master site will be created separately.

This is a quick-start guide to create a simple workshop repository with the following contents:

  • images/ folder
  • index.md for the workshop material
  • Readme.md

Get started

  • Login to GitHub
  • Ensure you have access to the QFAB-Bioinformatics organisation, you can check by looking at your profile and under the Organizations section. If you do not have access to the organisation, contact QFAB.
