4. Setup FAQ and Troubleshooting
This page will be updated when issues are found.
Regardless of whether you are running DCS locally or connecting to a server/different device, the plugin must be installed on the client - i.e. the machine where Olympus is being used.
We've tested it on Chrome, Firefox and Edge. If you are having issues, ensure you have the latest version and/or try a different browser.
Some browser extensions can have unexpected effects. If you are experiencing issues, try disabling all extensions. Usually, the quickest way to do this is to open a private/incognito window.
[2.2] When connecting locally (via http://localhost)
There are no known issues at this time.
If you are unable to use the camera plugin when connecting to a remote server/different device, ensure that device is hosting via HTTPS. The system administrator for that server should ensure this is happening.
The DCS Olympus team is hosting the maps. We provide absolutely no warranty for all and any availability, performance and/or representation. If it's not working for you, use a different mode.
