To add a new project to labman_ud go to /admin/projects/project/ and click on the add project button. The following fields must be filled out:

  • Project leader: The organization that leads the project.
  • Project type: The type of the project. The projects done in the research group without any external funding are internal projects.
  • Full name
  • Description
  • Homepage: url for the project.
  • Start month/year
  • End month/year: If it is an ongoing project do not fill this fields.
  • Status: not started/ongoing/finished.
  • Observations
  • Logo
  • Private funding details: if checked the funding details will not be shown in the project page.
  • See also: external urls related to the project.
  • Fundings: the funding details of the project (program, project code, total funds...).
  • Consortium members: organizations that take part on the project. Do not add again the project leader.
  • Assigned persons: Persons from the research group working on the project, their role on the project (Principal researcher, project manager or researcher) and the dates when they worked on the project. If the dates are left blank the person will be assigned for the whole duration of the project.
  • Related publications: papers that are an outcome of the project.
  • Project tags: Descriptive tags.

Fundings

To be able to add fundings to a project the corresponding funding program must have been registered previously in the system. To do this go to /admin/funding_programs/fundingprogram/ and click the add program button:

  • Organization: the organization that funds the program.
  • Full name
  • Short name
  • Geographical scope: the geographical scope of the program (e.g. Europe, Spain, Euskadi...). This scope is used to create some of the funding visualizations.
  • Funding program logos: Please take into account that several funding programs require the program logos to appear alongside any mention of the project. To do this add the corresponding logos here.
