Comprehensive taxomageia for creating believable, amazing, new creatures and monsters!
This Github repository contains code for the frontend of taxomageia. Currenly the backend is not public.
Taxomageia or Biomagical classification extends biological classification and adds magical, immortal, summoned, fantasy, undead and other creatures and monsters. Each Taxonomic rank inherits properties from parent ranks. More information at documentation.

Are you familiar with NextJS framework? If not, install and learn to use it.
If you know NextJS well, install Taxomageia Frontend, send pull requests and give feedback at forums.
Some things to consider:
- Open source template used at Taxomageia Frontend is using different folder structure than NextJS by default
- I havent yet had time to learn NextJS deeply, im getting there...
- from github fork repository (optional)
- $ git clone
- $ npm install
Note: Requests to backend will fail.

You can download creature data from following urls at taxomageia.
- all taxons: /api/taxomageias/first/taxons_complete
- one taxon: /api/taxomageias/first/taxons_complete/<identifier>
This information can be used in all kinds of games with creatures. Creatures have more complete bodies, attributes and behaviour. Creatures may be used to create more or less magical ecosystem.
