Dashboard: It's not clear how to make a new file. I want to be able to download my whole book with an Export or Save As function, and just get a PDF.

When I post a message, I want to drag and drop to associate my message with one or more files. That should just work.

On the Dashboard page here: http://ano-atlas2.herokuapp.com/books/1230000000045 i don't know what Book i am in. We should write the title at the top.

It was easy to change the title, that was nice.

On this page: http://ano-atlas2.herokuapp.com/books/1230000000133/versions/master/editor/book-docinfo.xml/preview should the preview of a docbook page or other XML page be pretty printed at least? ideally, a style sheet could be applied from the PDF process--it doesn't seem like a preview.

Download: On the Cassandra book there are several download options after the build. They need to be formatted better. Now it just says: 8 days ago: download pdf download epub download mobi

I am losing the header formatting in the translation you did for Cassandra. Dashboard: I would not give the cover so much real estate. It almost never changes, and yet it is very prominently featured. It should be able to be pulled up readily, but not sitting there in the middle of the page.

It's counter-intuitive when i click "Build" and then i'm asked to drag files across. I want to just build the whole book, and not have to drag each file. http://ano-atlas2.herokuapp.com/books/1230000000133/versions/master/index_creator

On this page (http://ano-atlas2.herokuapp.com/books/1230000000133/builds) after I drag a couple of chapters and hit Build, it would be nice to see some sort of progress meter indicating that something is happening. Ajax check should tell me progress.

I shouldn't have to refresh the page. But once i do, then it says my build was a success but then how do i get the files? 2 minutes ago: success I have to go back to the home page. I should not have to. I should be able to pick up my new build from the build page.

Also, i should be able to make a note that tags this build for me. The only way I can choose a build to download is based on timeline, and that's only one valid way a want to see the builds. i can't tell, for example, that in that build i included only chapters 1 and 2 and the glossary.

I could retrieve my PDF build, but the cover is badly (unusably) pixellated, even at smaller size, so that needs to be fixed.

I don't know how to change my picture on the Collaborators page.

The changes page was very slow loading.

On the changes page, the images that Adam loaded do not show as images, but as their text encoding. That should be fixed to see the image itself that was removed or added or whatever.

I should be able to click on the image of the collaborator or his name to view their profile.

The Changes page needs to be more user-friendly. We should add a variety of views & sorting options based on user needs: a timeline view (what did i change then/most recently? show me all changes made by user X. Show me all the changes to this file. We can't just expose Git/SVN in such a raw manner. We need to make it very user friendly. What if i am the guy writing iPod The Missing Manual--i am not this kind of geek, not the guy who can be assumed to be comfortable with this. We need to create it for theiPod guy.

I want to be able to make comments on people's files. We need to think of the collaborating editor. We call people Collaborators here, but I don't see any avenue for you and me and Mike and Adam to really collaborate on the same book. We need a chat feature, and the messages need to be sticky to a page, a chapter, a book, whatever the user selects.

After editing the Subtitle in the cover on its picture view, the book cover just says "Processing" forever, and stays gray. Need Ajax here? After 15 minutes, my change to the Subtitle did not

The price selection in a drop down feels incomplete. That needs to be a more sophisticated control i think. But there's a lot more there as you know.
