Instant search module for Prestashop

This moduleworks with MeiliServer 0.85 only.

You problably need to get a root access to your server to install Meili.

No need any setup.

How to install

Start Meili server just:

$ docker run -it --rm -p 7700:7700 -v $(pwd)/data.ms:/data.ms getmeili/meilisearch

If you don't know what is the command 'pwd' in $(pwd), please just check on Google.

To check if it's runing well or not, just:

$ docker container ps

Add a proxy on your nginx config, with theses lines:

location /instantsearch/ {
   proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:7700/;
}

The proxy path (here 'instantsearch'), need to match with what you set in BO.

To check if it's runing well or not, in your browser, try :

http(s)://your.shop.com/instantsearch/indexes

For the path of the proxy uses in front end to request search result, please don't use 'search', because it's already used by Prestashop for the search page URL.

Install the module on Prestashop

• Download the archive
• Extract file
• Repack only files in a new zip archive, and name it 'ao_meili_search.zip'
• Install the module

That's all, it's ready to work!

• Add a second way to make to ajax call (proxy php)
• save query searched, and save them in Prestashop DB -> save every vistited links from results box
