This PR is created based on my understanding of how things work in this repo, there are many things that might be completely wrong and requires review & correction.

Changes

  1. Replace url-regex with url-regex-safe (Security vulnerability)
  2. Upgrade all dependencies to latest
  3. Replace ESLint config with TS ESLint (Deprecated)
  4. Migrate from CJS to ESM only (Based on upstream unified direction)
  5. Removed test cases that are no longer valid with url-regex-safe library

Breaking Changes 🚨

  1. CJS can no longer use this version
  2. Some cases that could potentially lead to DOS will no longer be processed
