Compilation should work fine now and results in a statically linked binary.
For some reason, the mosh-client (currently shipped with debian) doesn't detect the connection information output by the server-side mosh-server (see mobile-shell/mosh#1299). It works with the provided wrapper script, though.
I took some shortcuts, pulling in zlib, protobuf and libnettle form the Alpine repos instead of cross-compiling them myself.
