This is a guide detailing on setting up Eclipse IDE for developing jython scripts on Gluu. Due to incompatibilites between the required JDK for Jython, PyDev and Eclipse, jython itself is not used. Instead, a native Python interpreter is used as placeholder for python syntax. Functionally, interception scripts don't differ between Python 2 and 3 with the exception of the
printfunction.
