Overview

Every transaction captured by mockingbird can be easily recorded as a new mock set, so can be used later or shared.

All records are saved automatically on the record folder with current date-time, and all data are saved as json files so can be easily modified.

How To

Saving a new record

  1. Go to Capture screen
  2. Start capturing something
  3. Tap Save Record and confirm the dialog.
  4. Done!

Replaying a recordset

  1. Go to Record screen
  2. Select any recorded set
  3. Done!

Replay & Pop

A recordset is saved following the same order as it was requested, so whenever it's important to replay those transactions in the same order, you should enable Replay & Pop button. This feature guarantees not only the ordering, but that each transaction returns only once.

Import external record

  1. Go to Settings screen
  2. Tap on Open Data Folder
  3. Open the record folder
  4. Copy new folder with recordset (ex. /record/folder_test)
  5. Go to Record screen
  6. Tap on Options > refresh screen or restart mockingbird
  7. Done!
