This fix includes a couple fixes that have been piling up since v1.5:
- The script will now work on copies of the texture layer
- Some inexplicable resizing failures have been fixed
- Paths have been made properly cross-platform (@katp32)
- randomly generated 2x sizes are now properly 2x the normal size (@bojidar-bg, @beccabunny)
