stable 0.4.3

This version 0.4.3 is stable.

The unstable release candidate 0.4.2-rc.1 is relegated to the branch next/1.1 with release tag 1.1.0-rc.0.

Since the last release message, on version 0.3.1, a few changes have been made, mostly to keep up with Sōzu versions. Of the several bumps and changes, here are the relevant ones:
