Currently, Notepad4 creates a few extra files when you use the autosave feature.
However, in some cases, it would be useful to have an auto-save that overwrites the original, rather than this one.
(Just like pressing Ctrl-S from time to time)
What do you think about adding this behaviour in the autosave options?
