Due to some issues with the delimiters, we switch back to \texttt for inline code (see #80). But if we still want to use minted, what about changing the delimiter depending on the input (with lua, of course) ? Except in very specific cases there is probably a delimiter not in the string that we can chose from, say, |, [, {, !, #, *, + ... Or others.
(and switch back to texttt if nothing is possible, obviously).
