Welcome to the Zerobase wiki!

We're in the process of organizing teams and volunteers. Please check back here for regular daily updates! If you're here, thank you. If you want to volunteer with our codebase please fill out your availability, email, skills on this Google Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zCCdLi4jRecI9HlJYk3SqoQ-Md62TB2ub3Hgwgq6LYU/edit#gid=0

We will be sending Github Org invites daily to new spreadsheet entries, please stay tuned.

Introduction

We are a group of volunteers building open source tools to enable virtual resources for public health to fight back against covid-19 in the face of diminishing physical resources. Our core product is Smart Tracing. We enable communities to quickly set up and deploy a QR system at locations in under 5 seconds. This establishes a framework that allows users to check-in by scanning each QR before entering a participating location. Our UI enables users on scan to automatically enroll without the need to signup, install an app, or visit a website - all in under one second. If an individual tests positive we enable public health agencies to quickly query the intersections of individuals to trace past exposure in a way thats private and effective. This in turn enables individualized public health administration at scale. Early deployment of Zerobase to build up a strong check-in repository will make each marginal test extremely powerful - this will be critical in places with resource limitations or limited test kits. This is why our goal is to reach communities before covid-19 with your help.
