Affected version

25.21

Device Type

Smart TV/Box

Affected Android

API 28

Steps to reproduce the bug

Immediately after update to 25.21, I am no longer able to play any videos. Trying to play a video crashes the app after 5-10 seconds of ANR, or pressing back button crashes the app after a 5-second freeze (ANR?)

Actual behavior

No response

Additional information

Off-brand EON Smart box device used. This is not caused by Cronet in #4240, I tried different engines.

Looks like this is caused by something with the video codec. Restarting the device helped for now, but restarting the app doesn't help. Can there be a leak somewhere?
