Has this bug been raised before?

  • I have checked "open" AND "closed" issues and this is not a duplicate

Description

Problem: When selecting text across blocks, all content will be selected by default.

Expectation: Keep the text selected by the mouse.

Unfortunately currently it's not possible by design.
Native multi-selection does not work if we use list of contenteditable blocks (without root contenteditable)

But it's planned for next major version
