[BUG] Text selection color disappears or dislocates

Has this bug been raised before?

• I have checked "open" AND "closed" issues and this is not a duplicate

Description

• When selecting a text and taking an action from toolbar say "Bold", the selection color from text disappears making it hard to figure out what text was selected
• If codeblock is part of the selected text, the selection color is persisted after taking any action but it dislocates from it's original position.

Thanks for reporting issue :)
This is common issue with rich-text editors.
Browser lost selection when you focus on other element.

So, it's time to create fake selection for such cases
